I would highly recommend this tour. From the moment of being collected at the airport and (sadly) dropped off 4 days later our wonderful guide Trygve went above and beyond to ensure everyone in the group had a wonderful time and memorable experience...

Kayak Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

You will be picked up from Stavanger Airport at 4 pm, and then driven to the cabin, which overlooks the Lysefjord.

After you have settled in, the guides will prepare a nice dinner for you and explain the details for the following day. This trip includes all food, accommodation, equipment, and airport transfers.

Day 2: Kayaking

After breakfast, you will head out for a full day of kayaking on the Lysefjord. For those that want to, you will have an opportunity to learn some skills along the way, before stopping for lunch.

During the paddle, you’ll see the Pulpit Rock, waterfalls, caves, and if you’re lucky some of the local wildlife (seals, great sea eagles, porpoises).

In the afternoon you will arrive back at the cabin, with enough time to relax a little. The evening will be spent enjoying a pleasant dinner, and experiencing the Norwegian “hygge” (a cozy feeling) of a traditional Norwegian cabin.

Day 3: Hiking

Wake up in a Norwegian paradise, whilst enjoying a nice cup of coffee over breakfast. This will prepare you for the day’s hike up Preikestolen – the views are incredible!

After enjoying views of the fjord from above, you will head back down to the cabin for yet another pleasant dinner and movie night.

Day 4: Kayaking

It’s time to get back in the kayaks, for another breath-taking paddle, further into Lysefjord. Explore the waterfalls and incredible cliff faces, and see Pulpit Rock from below. Keep an eye out for the seals, that are local to the area.

You will arrive back at Stavanger airport by 16.00 for your flight home.
