This adventure is perfect for anyone who would like to try kayaking on one of Norway’s most beautiful fjords! We'll welcome you at the parking lot, giving you a quick introduction and safety briefing before setting off. From the beach, we'll paddle deeper into the fjord, surrounded by stunning mountains and waterfalls – you might even spot some local wildlife! Best of all, this tour offers an incredible view of Preikestolen from below!

NB! We do not take “drop-in”. All tours must be booked in advance.

About The Tour

We’ll welcome you at our starting location, where you will be given a brief introduction and safety briefing before we go kayaking on Lysefjord. We’ll paddle further into the fjord from the beach, passing beautiful mountains, waterfalls, and we may even see the local wildlife.

On this tour we’ll also see the incredible Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen) from below!

Where & When

A little north of Forsand, along the road to Fossmork you'll find our kayak container and base. Parking is available at here as well as at Dørvika
We’ll welcome you on the parking lot next to the kayak container at the time of the booking. Here you will be given a brief introduction and safety briefing before departing.

Yes – While we’re kayking Lysefjord, you can store luggage in our equipment room.

The minimum size is 1 person and the maximum size is 12 persons.

We use the “Boreal Design Esperanto” double kayaks. The kayaks are stable and fast, perfect for anyone on a kayak trip in Norway.

The minimum age is 18, or 14 if accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Yes. You must be able to swim to attend this trip. You will be asked to complete and sign a waiver stating this when you attend the trip.
