“Kayaking the fjord with Nordic Paddling was the best part of our Norway trip. The location was easy to get to with their directions. They provide all the gear, but you should definitely bring a big water bottle, and maybe change of clothes (I stayed dry but my husband got soaked, it seems this was the case for other people too and I don’t know why). Dan was an awesome guide. He was calm and funny and made everyone in the tour group feel included. He gave really good instruction and even though we weren’t super experienced with kayaking (there was someone else on the tour who had never kayaked before too), it was pretty easy to get used to, especially since the kayaks were comfortable. The weather was thankfully amazing – sunny, beautiful, calm. Everyone was allowed to go at their own pace and Dan gave good information on some of the things we were passing and seeing. He was very easy to talk to and friendly. And of course, the views were stunning and so serene. If we were staying longer we probably would have come and kayaked again with Nordic Paddling.
